In the first video, I don't understand what happens at 0:10. The clipping you created disappears, which is what happens when you exit edit clipping mode without setting vertices (because a mesh, bounding box, clipping etc without vertices is invalid). If you deselect the clipping or select something else, that will exit edit clipping mode and delete the clipping if it has no vertices.
Then at 0:25 you create a new clipping and when you click no new vertices are created, which looks like a bug. I'm unable to get this to happen though. What version of Spine are you using?
When making videos it can help to press ctrl+shift+K, so viewers can see any hotkeys you use.
