Mesh Tools view enables the selection of multiple vertices with a single click. This is helpful when trying to modify vertices in a dense mesh attachment. It allows to select multiple vertices through soft selection and then scale, translate and rotate the selected vertices as a group.
Soft Selection is disabled by default, to use it, enable it in the Mesh Tools view. When active, soft selection expands the selection of the vertices to also include neighboring vertices. The influence of the neighboring vertices varies from 0 to 100 percent, depending on the distance from the selected vertices and the
feather setting. In addition to influencing unselected vertices with the rotate, translate, and scale tools, soft selection also influences unselected vertices when adjusting weights.
Size slider controls how big the area of selection is.
You can select the degree of influence of the selection through the
Feather slider. Feathered soft selections will apply your transforms only partially.
Hull vertices is enabled, the outer border of a mesh will be included in the selection, disabling it will select vertices only inside the mesh, preserving the borders.
