Lip Sync Possible In Spine?

Looking in the forums and on the net for tutorials on lip syncing within spine, but so far Ive found nothing, aside from plunin mentions in posted dating back to 2013
can sound be played in Spine? can you lip Sync/ scrub?

I would rather not have to add install or learn a new program outside of spine if possible. Im still learning Spine as it is.

Yes, you can use audio event keys to play audio during the animation. For more information, please see the Events page of the Spine User Guide: http://esotericsoftware.com/spine-events#Audio-node

Unfortunately, Spine does not provide a feature for generating lip-sync animations from audio files. I understand that you do not want to use any program other than Spine, but Rhubarb Lip Sync, which is made by a third-party, is useful to generate lip-sync animations from audio files. A frame Picker, similar to what you see in adobe animate would be super useful ...
having to hide every other mouth then unchecking the mouth you need during animating feels really cumbersome. unless Im doing this wrong

Does your skeleton have multiple slots for the mouth? Putting the mouth attachments into a single mouth slot allows you for easier switching of mouth attachments to be displayed. Only one attachment (or none) can be visible in a slot at any given time, so displaying another attachment will automatically hide the others:

So how exactly did you add those mouths to one slot?

right clicking them in the image section doesnt allow me to assign them to a slot and dragging them to the mouth slot doesnt work either

MindChamber As you have found, you can change the parent slot by pressing the Set Parent button. Alternatively, you can press the hotkey P to enter Set Parent mode. However, you can also change the parent slot by left-clicking and then dragging. If you could not drag an attachment, you may have operated in animate mode. Setting parent must always be done in setup mode.
If anything else doesn't work, please don't hesitate to ask in this forum.
