  • 3D donut in Spine #madewithspine

Hello everyone!
Can you make a 3D object in Spine?

You might think, "No way!" And you'd be right, because Spine is mainly for 2D.
But guess what? I actually made rotation famous 3D donut from Blender in Spine software. This isn't a pseudo 2.5D effect that most animators create in Spine. It's an actual 3D object, or more precisely, its projection onto a plane.
I did it in Spine. It was hard and took a while, but I made it.

SilverStraw Yes) I want to try to rig a full 360 face in Spine and use your Spine Vtuber Prototype 2.0.5 for face tracking. I'll be sure to share the results with you)

SvissBro That would be a good experiment. I have checkbox in Spine Vtuber Prototype for enabling back face culling. I hope the culling works similar to one in Spine editor.

SilverStraw In the method that I use - no need for "layer drawin order". I don't use mesh at all. I used other method)
