How about assign bone name from bounded slot right on bone creation with pressed Shift over the texture.
E.g. Suppose we have texture "right_hand" on the canvas, then we pick "Create new bones" tool and start create bone just pressing Shift and draging bone over the texture. In result slot with "right_hand" texture will bind to our new bone wich will get name like "boneXX". And my proposal is just call bone "right_hand", because every time when I creating bones by this way, I rename it to same name of texture that it holds (except in rare cases when bone not just presents separated texture). Anyway I am almost sure that nobody leaves bone names like "boneXX" in completed skeleton and the name of appropriate slot is much more better then abstract "boneXX".
What do you think about it?
