I had to adjust a setup pose's bones, which of course messes up all the animation position data.
I tried to import the animation data from a previous save where the animation is correct, and the import succeeded, but upon entering Animation mode and trying to load the newly imported animation data, the program crashes with below log.

Can y'all update on what the correct procedure is to adjust a Setup pose while preserving the animation data? Thanks.

The crash occurs when clicking the newly imported (blue-circled) walk animation in the Preview pane.

Sorry for the trouble. Could you please send us your Spine project via email so that we can reproduce the error?: contact@esotericsoftware.com

Hi Misaki!

The issue spanned 2 project files, but I've since cleaned things up and am moving forward manually remaking the animations in my current project and will just try to be more careful about adjusting the setup pose in the future. It should be straight-forward enough if y'all want to test out the process I documented in the screenshots with your own test project. I'll try out sometime your suggestion with the Adjust button in the Dopesheet view.

I am glad you have found your own solution! However, the issue of Spine crashing when trying to play a specific animation seems to be an issue we should fix, so if it happens again, we would appreciate it if you could send us a project that can reproduce the crash.
