i saved a file in 4.1 then dev needed it in 4.0 so i exported from 4.1 to 4.0 and imported json in 4.0 and everything works fine but when i export in binary there's an error in an image packing :think:

cause Spine to go out of memory. Could it be that they are too big for the current atlas settings? (consider I'm an artist, not a coder, and I'm guessing, but that's what the log seems to be suggesting)

i'll change export settings and try again, it's weird though as it exported well before updating to 4.1 and then downgrading again to 4.0.64 :think:

Hmm, they're not too big, do they maybe have complex meshes and are you using polygonal packing? What export settings are you using, and do they match exactly across 4.0 and 4.1?

everything the same no changes made just followed your method for downgrading from 4.1 to 4.0 on multiple files and exported fine, but this one is totally new to me so wanted to know the fix for future 🙂

The one thing that strikes me as unusual is the scale set to 72 instead of the usual 1, 2 or fractions like 0.5. It means you're packing your images to be 720% bigger. What happens if you set this number back to 1 and what was the reason to set it so?
