slot visibility on different animations

Hi,

I cannot manage to have a slot visible in one animation, but invisible the others. When I make the slot visible in an animation it appears in all of them. If I then make it invisible in other animations it disappears in the one I want it to be visible. Is it possible to change the visibility of a slot for one animation only?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the confusion

slot visibility is solely to reduce clutter in the editor. It is not keyed in animations or exported.

Instead of hiding the slot, you probably want to clear the visibility for all attachments in the slot. To do that, click the visibility next to a visible attachment. If you have Auto Key on, that is sufficient to set a key which you should see in the dopesheet. Otherwise the key button next to the slot is what keys the attachment visibility for that slot.

Hi, thanks. That did it. I had tried making the attachment invisible, but it appeared not to be working so I decided to try the slot. I now realise I had been clicking in the wrong place.
